I'm super goddamn proud of this. It took me about a day to finish (started it around lunchtime yesterday and finished it about an hour or so ago.) Lately I've been experimenting with the feel I want the game to have, art-style-wise and character-wise... changing the style of the armor until the characters have a good look and feel to them... For some reason I've found that I like to focus all of the heavy emphasis (for a balanced fighter like the guy in the middle) on the pants and the boots, giving him lighter chest armor. (I hate helmets unless they're on a balanced and even-armored person like the strong girl on the far left.) I'm now putting an emphasis on the hands and trying to make them look the absolute best as possible, because I've actually discovered that hands are the most esthetically pleasing thing about the human body in general. That and feet/calves I like to put emphasis on...

On a side note, I think the drawing looks much better in person... don't know why but I don't really like the way the scanner scanned it. Ah well. Might fuck with that in photoshop or something 'til it feels good... that's really what my work is about. Messing with stuff and tweaking it and fine tuning it until it feels right... I greatly enjoy that too!
